The MMS offers new functionality to SharePoint users. As the name suggests, it's managed metadata. You can now serve up specific lists to your entire organization or consumption as metadata. Your users will no longer have to set up lists in every site collection to get consistent tagging and search results. No longer will they create lists for valid sales offices, reservoir names, or client id's. In this tech dive, David will walk thru the process of integrating your MMS's with your LOB systems. David will demonstrate how to load data from an LOB, link the MMS with the LOB, and create a sync'ing process. This will be 100% demo, no slides.
